According to Forbes, toxic leadership is a combination of self centred attitudes, motivations and behaviours that have an adverse effect on subordinates. You may think a toxic leader is one that shouts at staff, pushes blame and intimidates. However, a leader who is apathetic, doesn't provide feedback and who avoids conflict can create an equally toxic work environment.
