This workshop has been designed to help managers achieve improvements in performance and productivity by exploring some of the technical skills needed to be an effective manager and is a must for any manager.

Workshop Content

  • The Role of the Manager

An introduction into the behavioural responsibilities of management. The difference between management and leadership. Identifying your management style and what you may need to do differently going forward.

  • Managing Employees

This module looks at the communication skills required to manage the performance of staff, how to give constructive feedback and manage the more difficult scenarios when they disagree with your assessment.

  • Development and Coaching Skills

This module looks at the setting of SMART objectives and the value of managers being able to effectively coach their staff, explaining how both can improve your employees performance .
